Ibiza – magic island, such strong energy, both up and down, I love it. I have just arrived back to Barcelona and my working summer in Ibiza has been fantastic, I enjoy it so much, it was my seventh year and it inspirers and helps me for the whole year – it’s living in and with nature and it makes me tick. I love massaging outside in nature – it feeds inspiration into my hands, body and soul to work with.

Recommendation number 1:

I would start the day with a big glass of water with slices of lemon in it. This cleanses your body first thing in the morning and it is very detoxifying.

Recommendation number 2: Then do 10-minutes of stretching, I do the yoga sun-salutation slowly 5 times but one can do any stretching. Just wake up your body! It feels great.

In Ibiza I drive to holiday villas and set up my massage table in the most beautiful environments and work with wonderful clients from all over the world. I massage by the pool, under a fruit or olive tree, by a lavender bush, amongst flowers and overlooking the most astonishing views of mountains, sea, island of Formentera, Es Vedra(big ancient rock in the sea), skies, fields and trees. When I’m driving or massaging I always visualise using colours from the nature I’m in – Recommendation number 3: Visualise colours – I visualise colours for strength (blue sea or sky), protection(white clouds), grounding/passion/love(red earth), calmness/balance/spiritual energy(green trees)calmness, love. Look at your environment and make up your own colour visualisation and use it in every day life.

I massage about 2-4 people in each villa and this year me and my partner Daniel (who is a personal trainer and football trainer for kids) offered packages for families at villas of massage and training for adults and kids, it was so lovely to work together and we had about 3 families through out all of August who booked with us on a regular basis where for example I would massage the mother and the teenage daughter and Daniel at the same time would train the father in boxing training and functional training and then he would train the 10-year old son in football skills – it worked perfect and I felt we were a good team! Thank you all who tried our packages. Recommendation 4: Try and do some exercise couple of times a week, something you enjoy!

At lunchtime or at the end of the day we would have a lovely lunch/dinner and a dip in the clear blue/green healing sea!! I love floating to relax. Recommendation 5: Don’t forget to relax a little bit every day – float in the sea, have a massage, meditate 5 minutes in the morning and evening, rest after lunch, take some time out for yourself.

In the evenings I loved dancing or watching the sunset, the moon and the stars, it gives you an amazing powerful energy. One evening Daniel and I saw 10 falling stars!! I made a wish for each one!! Recommendation 6: Connect with nature, dance in it – it helps you trust and to be in the moment.

Thank you Ibiza, nature, Daniel, friends and clients – it was a great summer on the magic white isle and I’m now ready for the city and beautiful Barcelona again.
